Season of Giving
In reflecting upon the year, the United States is facing times like never before. The mortgage industry fallout, financial system bailout, conflicts abroad and rising unemployment rates weights heavily upon many Americans.
Families across the country have been forced to re-arrange their lives, including giving up their homes, fighting for any type of employment, and sacrificing lifestyles. Amid these tough, uncertain economic times in the United States, one true certainty remains and that is the Season of Giving.
Each year, the World Bible Society collects donations to distribute Christmas meals and toys to those who cannot provide for their family. With the giving spirit of the season, we ask for your help in providing your fellow Americans in need with the gift of a memorable Christmas. Additionally, through your generosity and help, we will be able to provide gifts and toys to those children whose trees may be otherwise barren this Christmas.
